1) Assistant Service Manager
You should be in your early 30s with diploma in Nautical Studies, Marine
or Mechanical Engineering. Individuals without diploma but have at least
5 years of experience in marina or shipyard environment may also apply.
You are expected to work independently. You must have good inter-personal
skill, and able to work on weekends and public holidays.
Job Responsibilities :
Supervise upslipping, downslipping, hauling and launching of boats.
Manage yard operations including hull painting, anti-fouling, fibreglass
and carpentry works.
Plan and coordinate repair activity with boat owner and subcontractors.
Maintain yard hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
2) Sales Engineer/Executive (Leisure
Boating)
You should be in your late 20s with experience in small office environment.
You are expected to work independently and will be required to travel. You
must have good inter-personal skill, love water sports and able to work
on weekends and public holidays. Experience in marine products and basic
boating knowledge is essential. The position is expected to be challenging
and will be highly dependant on sales performance. Female candidates are
most welcome.
Job Responsibilities :
Servicing existing clients, direct sales at the marina outlet and making
cold calls to establish new customers.
Assisting the MD in marketing activity such as corporate marketing communication,
organising exhibition, publicity and promotional material and activities.
3) Sales Engineer / Executive
You should be in your mid 20s with class 3 licence. Min 2 yrs sales experience
with good contacts with yards, owners & operators; or Poly grad in marine
engineering
Job Responsibilities :
Promote market awareness of our products and services.
Make sales calls to shipyard, ship owners and operators.
Market leads and information gathering.
Respond to enquiry, quotation and assist in tender/project submission
4) Sales and Logistics Assistance
You should be in your early 20s. With good command of English and competent
with computer. You will provide admin support for sales team and assist
in logistics and inventory records.
